Missing Big Bang on your television? Don’t fret. MTV Asia presents Seoul Sunday, a weekly show featuring your favorite Korean artists. Seoul Sunday has music videos, countdown specials, concerts and exclusive interviews. And for you VIPs out there, on Sunday, October 16, MTV Asia will be airing MTV Seoul Sunday:Big Bang Special. The show starts at 12 noon (Manila Time). Be sure to tune in!

2011 has been both a good and a bad year for Big Bang and VIPs. But our boys are still together and making the music that we love. That should be enough for us to get through this.

On 20 August 2011, I Heart Big Bang/Pinoy VIPs fan club celebrated five years of Big Bang — and the birthday of fearless leader G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong) — with a party. It was dubbed “Always VIP: The Big Bang 5th Anniversary Party”. The event was held at Times Square in Makati.

There were some wonderful kpop performances by some very talented VIPs.

And we had cake! After all, what’s an anniversary/birthday party without it, right?

Not only did T.O.P. Philippines win Top Fan Group for being the club responsible for the most sales among all the local fandoms, but Big Bang nabbed some of the highest spots in the Top 20 bestselling merchandise from May 2010 to May 2011. Yes, you VIPS who ordered CDs and DVDs from us were responsible for Big Bang taking the top spots in the Ongaku Gayo Top 20.
